its all luck, i found 5 tonics over the weekend - and i only farmed raptors and gargoyles to get about half a stack each of the 3 other event items.

i did, however, buy a few dozen tonics for 1,2k each

I hate raptor farming sooooo much that i decided to farm feathers and get event drops from that instead. After farming up over 3 full stacks of feathered headgear i had nearly a stack of summoners and 9 frosty tonics

WoW you had a great luck...........I farmed Friday and Saturday and only got 1 stack of each special items a total of 7 hours of farming, great luck or you farmed more than 7 hours.

Did anyone bother to buy any in post? If so how much were you paying? They were around 3-5k in pre and i managed to get around 47. Now just going to wait it out to sell them

Yer 2 to 3k is the going rate seen 3 people in spamadan about 20 min ago selling them around that price.
One was selling 20 for 2.5k each and I'm broke or would have snaped them up.
They will prolly drop at true Wintersday anyway OR a trader for them.
